Roger & I first met at a rodeo in Lake County, CA and were inseparable after that. We had been together 9 years and decided it was silly we hadn’t tied the knot yet (we’ve been together 11 years now).
We had our big day at our ranch in Vya, NV – pretty much in the middle of nowhere. We cleaned up and decorated a cabin that wasn’t in use and made it into a beautiful hangout!

I tried on a few and ended up with the most stunning dress of my dreams! I cried a little when I looked in the mirror… like wow this is definitely it!

We had so many custom items from small businesses that made the little touches perfect! From my custom shoes to necklaces my bridesmaids and I wore. It was the PERFECT day. We were surrounded by our family and a ton of friends that traveled over 300 miles to share our big day with us!

My wonderful husband had proposed to me after I put the first ride on a filly I started out of his family’s line of horses. He used to ride her grandma as a kid, so that was super special. We ended up taking a bunch of wedding photos with the same horse a year later.

My biggest advice for future brides would be to make sure you slow down and enjoy the day! Don’t worry if a little thing isn’t perfect. It flies by!
