Love story…
Kenneth and I met years ago while working together in Rocklin California. In 2007, our company moved Kenneth to NJ for a great business opportunity. Our love and friendship grew for one another through long late night phone conversations.

One day in 2015 something just changed between us. We cannot tell you what it was, but we planned a vacation together to Boston, MA where Ken met me at the train station with the most beautiful bouquet of flowers. We just fell deeper in love with one another. That year, we moved Ken back home to California together; driving across the country where we landed in the East Bay. We found out in early 2016 I was pregnant with our son Brayden, and the rest is history.

For our wedding day, we just wanted love to surround us. Both Kenneth and I lost loved ones last year. It is a reminder that life is short and will change out of nowhere.
My Father, the first man I ever loved, passed last year from a very aggressive cancer. How was I supposed to walk down the aisle without HIM? My special detail was a charm I had on my bouquet with his face on it. He wasn’t physically there but I held onto that charm very tightly as my Mom and I walked down the aisle towards Ken.

There are so many special moments from the day I will cherish.

A moment that stands out is when I danced with my 5 year old son on my hip to “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts, which left not a dry eye in the house.

Another was when my 97 year old Grandmother made her way onto the dance floor and danced to Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars! |

My advice to other brides and grooms is, stop yourself throughout the day and just look around. Take in everyone and everything.

Allow yourself to feel the love and really enjoy the day. It does go by entirely too fast but will be one of the best days of your life.
